Another mini harvest tonight - this time of my red shallots that have got away from me slightly, though to be honest I wasn’t sure when to dig them up. I also took quite a few pictures of the other things that are growing in my garden…*obsessed*
The only thing I’m avoiding doing is weeding…maybe I’ll get the dog on that one… “Midge!”…

Steve ( the galloping gardener )
I love radishes, can’t understand why my wife doesn’t like them, I mean she loves pepper lol. You have a nice looking gardening site here, it really brings back memories for me as I grew up with an allotment for a playground.
My father was a keen gardener and joined 2 allotments together to form 1 big one. He grew all kinds of things and wasn’t afraid to try out something new like Chinese lettuce, or growing grapes in the greenhouse.
It used to amaze me to have grapes growing in a Mancheser greenhouse ;o)
Now I’m living in Texas and gardening is a lot different I can tell you.
I’m off now to take another look around your site.

Phil
Hi,
I stumbled on your allotment blog while looking for a ready made growing calendar. I notice you haven’t posted for a while, I hope you are still plodding away with the allotment!
I got my allotment with a mate last year and it’s been great fun. I enjoyed reading your posts and the pictures are really good too. I hope you keep it up!
cheers
Phil
