More about Ragged Radishes...
Ragged Radishes is the allotment blog of Lucy Crosbie (that's me). As a novice allotment owner, I took on plot no. 27 at the Burras Lane site in Otley, West Yorkshire in Oct 2006. This is my online diary charting the redevelopment of the site over the next year.
Have a read, or just a nosey around and please feel free to comment on my posts and photos...

Wow I’m jealous! Great work on your garden. Unfortunately I’m stuck with a balcony on the cold side of the building for now, and there are no allotment gardens anywhere near! Hopefully we will move into a house soon so I can stretch my green (but now rusty) thumbs!

Carrots - I got some advice last year that they do not transplant very well from being sown in containers and then moved??!! Thought I would pass on the advice….cos I hate sowing stuff and then it not growing (think this allotment life may be a bit stressful for me! ha ha)
